Las Vegas, NV - Woodbine in Toronto, Ontario played host to the $150,000 Grade 3 Hendrie Stakes in Saturday, May 24. Grade 1 winner and slight 5-2 favorite in the field of eight older females, Spring in the Air came up with the one length victory - her first win in five starts. Mekong Delta finished a very good second at 25-1 while another long shot Mekong Delta got up for third at 50-1 odds. Part the Seas was fourth, followed by Unhedged, My Option, a tiring Purely Hot, and Kitty Wine.
