Indiana Downs History

Since opening in 2002, Indiana Downs has hosted some of the state's major stakes events, including the Indiana First Lady Stakes, the Governor's Stakes, the Checkered Flag Stakes, the Shelby County Stakes, the William Henry Harrison Stakes and the Oliver Stakes.

Connected to the Indiana Downs clubhouse is the Indiana Grand Casino with a 233,000-square-foot gaming floor and close to 2,000 slots and electronic games.
