The Mr. Prospector Handicap is an American Thoroughbred horse race run annually at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, Florida. A Grade III event open to horses age three and older, it is contested on dirt over a distance of 6 furlongs. Inaugurated in 1946, the race is named after Mr. Prospector, who's whose descendants have been dominant in the United States Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing.
