Trainer Jose Pinchin (Holywell): “She ran exactly the way I expected her to run, getting the lead from the one hole. Last time she won, she galloped out five or six lengths ahead of the field, so I knew she was going to get a mile.

“Last time, she fought seven furlongs straight. She didn’t get an easy lead. I knew she was going to get an easy lead this time.

“We have the mare. This is our second stakes winner from her third foal, so she’s pretty all right.” (Holywell’s half-sister, Sinister Brew won the $100,000 John Franks Juvenile Fillies Turf Stakes in 2011).

“We’ll probably go to Delta Downs for the fillies race ($400,000 Delta Princess (G3) on Nov. 22).

Jockey Orlando Bocachica (Holywell): "I talked to (trainer) Jose (Pinchin) this morning and he said, 'Try to go for the lead and see what happens.' We were on the rail and we broke good and we were able to slow it down. The half (:50.58) was perfect. I started asking her a little on the turn but we were never in trouble."
