“I couldn’t tell (who won it) Looking at the other one, his head was higher up and our’s was down. I couldn’t tell. I’m always doom and gloom in those situations, unless it’s obvious. I couldn’t tell.

“I guess anyone who runs good in the Sires Stakes would look at the Delta Jackpot ($1 million, Grade 3, Nov. 22) and the Princess ($400,000, Grade 3, Nov. 22) for the girls (at Delta Downs) and their two prep races. Of course, we know what is here, so our main objective is try the good ones here, the Holy Bull ($400,000, Grade 2, Jan. 24) and the other ones here.”

Jockey Ramsey Zimmerman (Sing Praises): "Man, that was exciting. You know, I was so disappointed the last time he ran (second Sept. 6 in the Susan's Girl Division of the Sire Stakes). I must have watched the tape 30 times. My plan today was to take him to the lead and let them try and beat him but it didn't work out that way. But today he fought all the way. He stuck his head out at the right time at the finish."
