December 10, 2019

OZONE PARK, N.Y. - Two talented fillies in Paulassilverlining and Clothes Fall Off are set to face each other in the $125,000 Correction at six furlongs for fillies and mares 4-years-old and up in Saturday's feature race at Aqueduct Racetrack.

From the barn of trainer Michelle Nevin, Vincent Scuderi's Paulassilverlining boasts a formidable career record of two wins and a second-place finish from three starts over the Big A inner track. The 4-year-old daughter of Ghostzapper enters the Correction coming off an astounding 9 ΒΌ-length victory in her first start of the year in which she was chased three-wide most of the way in an optional-claimer on February 11 at Aqueduct.

Drawing the rail as the 6-5 morning-line favorite, Paulassilverlining will depart with Jose Ortiz in the irons.

A close second choice on the morning line at odds of 7-5, Clothes Fall Off will look to improve off a second-place finish in the Grade 2 Barbara Fritchie on Febaruary 13 at Laurel Park for trainer Kiaran McLaughlin and Cheyenne and Southern Equine Stables. With four second-place finishes from five starts at the distance and a career-high 91 Beyer Speed Figure, Clothes Fall Off will look to pick up her first career stakes win from post 5 with Manuel Franco aboard.

Local fan favorite Willet the gristled 8-year-old New York-bred veteran is set to make her 31st career start in the Correction as she looks to earn her first victory of the year. Closing fast in her last race at Aqueduct to finish second by a neck in the Broadway at Aqueduct, wil leave from post 3 with Cornelio Velasquez aboard.

Rounding out the field are My Savannah Belle for Kingsport Farm and trainer Assaf Ronen, who enters off a victory in the Xtra Heat at Aqueduct last year, and Momameamaria for trainer David Cannizzo and Two Tone Farms.
