The mile $100,000 stakes for fillies and mares will be supported by the $100,000 Harlan’s Holiday, $100,000 El Prado and the $100,000 South Beach on an 11-race program with a first-race post of 12:05 p.m.
Trainer Marty Wolfson is slated to saddle three starters in the Rampart, including Cali Star, a convincing winner at Gulfstream Park West in her recent South Florida debut; Curlin’s Princess, who finished third in behind Cali Star; and Best Behavior, a last-out winner coming off a five-month layoff.
The Harlan’s Holiday, which will be run as a Grade 3 stakes next year, is scheduled to feature the return of multiple-stakes winner Mr. Jordan, who hasn’t run since finishing off the board behind Triple Crown hero American Pharoah in the Haskell (G1) at Monmouth Park Aug. 2. Graded-stakes winners Madefromlucky and Valid are expected to vie for favoritism in the 1 1/16-mile main-track test.
The El Prado and South Beach are both slated for 7 ½ furlongs on turf.
