Unique Bella - has three career starts for Jerry Hollendorfer with two wins and a second place finish. She raced in stakes company for the first time last time out and recorded the very impressive win by 7 1/2 lengths in the G2 Santa Ynez Stakes on this track January 8. Before that was an impressive 10 1/4 length maiden score at 6 1/2 furlongs at Del Mar November 26 and a second as 1-5 favorite in her debut - on this track back in June. Unique Bella has been terrific lately and is expected to be in the mix again Sunday. Mike Smith will be in the saddle in Unique Bella's two-turn debut - from gate 4.

Champagne Room - newly minted Eclipse Award winner for 2016 Champion 2 Year Old Filly has two wins, a second and a third place finish in five career starts for trainer Peter Eurton. Last time out was a terrific career-defining win at 33-1 odds in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies in November which followed a somewhat disappointing fourth in the G1 Chandelier Stakes on this track October 1, an OK third, a nose behind American Cleopatra in the G1 Del Mar Debutante Stakes September 3, an uber-successful stakes debut - a win by 1 1/4 lengths in the G2 Sorrento Stakes at Del Mar August 6 and a second in her debut at Del Mar July 16. Champagne Room has been a factor in every race so far and hopes to build on that terrific effort from last time out. Mario Gutierrez has been tabbed with accomplishing that goal from gate 2.

Miss Southern Miss - Keith Desormeaux trained filly has placed in four of five career starts - two wins and two second place finishes. Last time out was a nice win by 2 1/2 lengths in the minor Surfer Girl Stakes at this distance on this track October 10 which followed a somewhat disappointing fifth in the G1 Del Mar Debutante Stakes September 3, a decent graded stakes debut - a second behind Champagne Room in the Grade 2 Sorrento Stakes on this track August 6 and a second in her stakes debut - the minor Landulace Stakes at Santa Anita July 9. She also had a maiden score by 3 1/4 lengths at first asking - at Santa Anita June 9. Miss Southern Miss has been competitive so far, has put in a pair of bullet six-furlong works leading up to this weekend, including a 1:12 4/5 drill from the gate Jan. 25 and will be after a career-defining win from post 5 Sunday. Mopotism - Doug O'Neill trained filly has four career starts with one win, one runner-up and one third place finish to show for it. She finally broke maiden last time out by 4 1/4 lengths on this track at this distance December 30 after an OK third in the G1 Starlet Stakes at Los Alamitos December 10, a second in a MSW November 12 and a fifth in her debut August 28 - both results at Del Mar. Mopotism has been in every race so far in her career and will be chasing her first stakes score and second straight win overall from the rail. Flavien Prat rides.

Mistressofthenight - Richard Baltas trained filly has a win and a third place finish in five career starts. She finally broke maiden last time out on this track January 14 after a fifth and a fourth respectively in a pair of MSW races in November. Before that was an eleventh in her stakes debut - the G1 Chandelier Stakes on this track in October and a third in her career debut. Mistressofthenight hadn't been all that impressive before last time out and will shoot for a second straight win from post 3 Sunday. Corey Nakatani has the mount.
