2017 Turnback the Alarm Handicap Entries at Belmont Park

Miss Sky Warrior 8-5

Has five wins in seven career starts for trainer Kelly Breen. She races for the first time since May Saturday when she finished a disappointing last of eight in the G1 Kentucky Oaks in May. Before that was a very nice five race win streak - the G2 Gazelle Stakes by 13 lengths at Aqueduct April 8, the G2 Davona Dale Stakes at Gulfstream March 4, the G2 Demoiselle Stakes at Aqueduct November 26, the G3 Tempted Stakes on that track November 5 and a front-running seven length maiden score at Parx October 15. She finished fourth in her debut September 11. Miss Sky Warrior was the best in her class at the end of end of 2016/beginning of 2017 and will be in search of a strong bounce back in her return. Javier Castellano has been tabbed to ride the obvious morning line favorite from post 3.

Eskenformoney 3-1

Has 27 career starts for trainer Todd Pletcher with four wins, seven seconds and seven third-place finishes. She has been decent lately placing in eight of her last nine starts overall. Last time out was a third in the G1 Beldame Stakes on this track September 30 which followed another third in the G1 Personal Ensign Stakes at Saratoga August 26, a second behind Money'soncharlotte in the G3 Molly Pitcher Stakes at Monmouth Park July 30 (she was second in the 2016 edition as well) and a third in the listed Lady's Secret Stakes on that track July 2. Before that was a sixth in the G1 La Troienne Stakes at Churchill Downs May 5, a second in the G2 Azeri Stakes at Oaklawn Park March 10, another third in the G2 Royal Delta Stakes at Gulfstream Park February 18 and a career-best effort - a win in the G3 Rampart Stakes at Gulfstream. Eskenformoney has placed in five of her last six graded stakes starts and will be out to snap a seven-race losing streak Saturday with John Velazquez aboard the second betting choice from the outside post 7.
