Fantastic Style - defending champion in this race, Bob Baffert trained filly has five wins, a second and a third place finish in seven career starts. She returned from an eight month layoff and promptly won the Grade 3 Las Flores Stakes at Santa Anita March 20. Before that was the 2015 Great Lady M Stakes score by 3 1/2 lengths, a good win by 3 1/4 lengths in the minor Angels Flight Stakes at Santa Anita May 16 and an OK third in the Grade 2 Beaumont Stakes in April at Los Alamitos. She has been competitive every time out and will be out to make it four straight impressive wins from gate 2 Saturday. Rafael Bejarano has been tabbed to ride.
Lost Bus - has four wins, two seconds and two third place finishes in 12 career starts for trainer Gary Sherlock and arrives on the heels of a nice two race win streak. Last time out was an Allowance Optional Claiming score at Santa Anita March 11 after an upset victory at 64-1 odds in the Grade 2 Santa Monica Stakes January 23 - her graded stakes bow. Before that was a third in the minor Kalookan Queen Stakes December 30, a second in an Allowance Optional Claiming December 13 and four straight off-the-board finishes. Lost Bus has placed in her last four starts overall and arrives in career-best form. Fernando Hernandez Perez gets the call from post 3.

Ben's Duchess - John Sadler trained filly has hit the board in 10 of 12 career starts - four wins, two seconds and four third place finishes. She enters off a second place finish behind Fantastic Style at Santa Anita March 20 after failing to place in her previous two starts- an ugly ninth followed a fourth in the Grade 1 La Brea Stakes December 26. Before that was a good win in her graded stakes debut - the Grade 3 LA Woman Stakes by 3 1/4 lengths with a career best 100 Beyer Speed Figure here October 4, a second in her stakes debut - the minor C.E.R.F Stakes at Del Mar September 6 and an Allowance Optional Claiming score in August. Ben's Duchess has been a tad up and down and hopes to regain her early-career form and flip the script on Fantastic Style when she departs from post 5 with Joe Talamo in the irons of the only other graded stakes winner in the field.
Minks Aprise - has four wins and a second place finish in eight career starts for trainer Jerry Hollendorfer. She makes her graded stakes debut Saturday in decent form - a win last time out by 2 1/4 lengths in the minor Camilla Urso Stakes at Golden Gate March 19 followed a sixth in the minor Wishing Well Stakes at Santa Anita in January and an Allowance Optional Claiming score in December at Golden Gate. Mikes Aprise has won every second start in her career so far but hopes to buck that trend and make it two wins in a row from gate 6. Alex Solis has been scheduled to ride.
Thirteen Arrows - has placed in nine of 11 career starts for trainer Jerry Hollendorfer - six wins, two seconds and a third place finish. Last time out was a runner-up finish in the minor Spring Fever Stakes at Oaklawn Park February 20 which followed two straight minor stakes scores - the Pan Zareta Stakes at Fair Grounds in December and the Zia Park Distaff in November to go along with an Allowance Optional Claiming score at Los Alamitos in October. Thirteen Arrows has been very competitive lately and will be after her first graded stakes score Saturday. She leaves from the rail with Martin Garcia aboard.
Dr. Fager's Gal - Jerry Hollendorfer trained filly has three wins, a second and a third place finish in 10 career starts. She makes her graded Stakes debut Saturday having failed to place in her last three starts overall. Last time out was a fourth in the minor Camilla Urso Stakes at Golden Gate March 19 after an eleventh in the minor Miss America Stakes on that track in December and a fifth in the minor Fort Springs Stakes at Los Alamitos in October. She did win the minor Beverly J. Lewis Stakes by 3 3/4 lengths on this track in September but hasn't been great since. Dr. Fager's Gal returns to the scene of her best career effort and will depart from gate 4 with Martin Pedroza aboard.
Finest City - has placed in six of nine career starts for trainer Ian Kruljac. Last time out was a fourth in the Grade 3 Las Flores Stakes at Santa Anita March 20 which followed a third in an Allowance Optional Claiming February 11, a career best runner-up finish behind Lost Bus in the Grade 2 Santa Monica Stakes at Santa Anita January 23 and a somewhat disappointing sixth in her graded stakes debut - the Grade 1 La Brea Stakes December 26. She also had an Allowance Optional Claiming score on this very track December 3 and a win in a similar race at Del Mar October 31. Finest City has been decent so far in her career and chases her first stakes win from the outside post 7 Saturday. Kent Desormeaux has the mount.
