Camelot Kitten - Chad Brown trained colt has five wins and three runner-up finishes in 10 career starts. He finished a strong second in the G3 Dixiana Bourbon Stakes as a juvenile at Keeneland last October 4 and went on to a disappointing twelfth in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf. He has seven starts since and has been good - a win over Beach Patrol last time out in the G3 Hill Prince Stakes at Belmont Park October 8 followed a respectable second in the G3 Saranac Stakes at Saratoga September 3 and a good win in the G2 National Museum of Racing Hall of Fame Stakes at Saratoga August 5. Before that was an OK fourth in the G1 Belmont Derby Invitational July 9, a good win in the G3 Pennine Ridge Stakes at Belmont Park June 4 and a career defining upset win over Beach Patrol in the G2 American Turf Stakes at Churchill Downs May 7. Camelot Kitten has been terrific lately (three wins and a runner-up finish in his last four starts and hopes to keep the strong run going from gate 2 Saturday. Irad Ortiz has been tabbed to ride.
Beach Patrol - Chad Brown trained colt has placed eight of nine career starts - three wins, three seconds and two third place finishes. Last time out he finished a respectable second in the G3 Hill Prince Stakes at Belmont Park October 8 which followed a career-best effort - a win in the G1 Secretariat Stakes at Arlington August 13 and an OK third in the G1 Belmont Derby Invitational. Before that was a disappointing sixth in the G3 Penn Mile June 4 and a respectable second behind Camelot Kitten in the Grade 2 American Turf Stakes at Churchill Downs May 7. Beach Patrol has been competitive every time except for on bad outing and will be out for his second G1 stakes win in three starts when he leaves from the rail with Florent Geroux aboard.

Free Rose - Richard Baltas trained gelding has four wins, two seconds and two third place finishes in 12 career starts. He made his stakes debut August 6 on this track and provided a huge upset win in the Grade 3 La Jolla Handicap after consecutive thirds in Allowance races. He has continued to be competitive - a second last time out in the G2 Twilight Derby at Santa Anita November 4 followed a great win in the G2 Del Mar Derby here September 4. Free Rose has placed in six straight races ahead of this weekend with three wins over that span. Norberto Arroyo hopes to keep Free Rose in the mix Saturday when they leave from post 5.
Isotherm - has two wins, two seconds and a third place finish in nine career starts for trainer George Weaver. He was last seen running a disappointing eighth in the minor English Channel Stakes at Belmont Park October 23 after a respectable second in the G2 Commonwealth Derby at Laurel Park September 24, a quality third in the G3 Saranac Stakes at Saratoga September 3 and an OK fifth in the G2 National Museum of Racing Hall of Fame Stakes in August. He also posted a good second in the G3 Dania Beach Stakes with a career best 87 Beyer Speed Figure at Gulfstream Park in January, an eleventh in the 2015 Breeders' Cup Juvenile and a breakthrough win in the G3 Pilgrim Stakes at Belmont Park September 26. Isotherm has been OK so far in his career and hopes to snap a six race losing streak Saturday. John Velazquez gets the call from gate 6.
Annals of Time - will hit the track for just the third time for trainer Chad Brown having placed in all three career starts - a win, a second and a third place finish. Last time out was an OK stakes debut - a third in the G3 Hill Prince Stakes at Belmont Park October 8 after a second in an Allowance Optional Claiming at Saratoga in September and a win at first asking - at Saratoga a year ago. Annals of Time has been decent so far and will be after a first stakes win from post 11 Saturday. Javier Castellano will be in the reins.
Hayabusa One - Graham Motion trained French bred colt has two wins and a second place finish in four career starts. He makes his stakes debut Saturday on the heels of consecutive wins - an Allowance last time out by 3 3/4 lengths in his North American debut October 19 at Keeneland and a Maiden score back in February overseas. Hayabusa One takes an enormous step up in competition in OK form and will have Victor Espinoza guiding him from gate 8.
Frank Conversation - Doug O'Neill trained colt has four wins and a third place finish in 10 career starts and has looked very good at times over that span. Last time out was a good win at 36-1 over Free Rose in the G2 Twilight Derby at Santa Anita November 4 after three disappointing results - a tenth in the G2 City of Hope Stakes at Santa Anita October 8, a thirteenth in the G2 American Turf Stakes at Churchill Downs in May and a seventh in the Group 2 UAE Derby at Meydan in March. He started his year with two good stakes wins - the G2 El Camino Real Derby February 13 and the minor California Derby in January - both at Golden Gate. Frank Conversation has shown some serious form and snapped out of a funk last time out. He hopes to build on that win when he leaves from post 3 with Mario Gutierrez in the reins.
Revved Up - Shug McGaughey trained colt has placed in four of nine career starts - two wins, a second and a third place finish. He hasn't been all that great lately however - a fourth last time out in an Allowance Optional Claiming at Aqueduct November 9 followed a fifth in his stakes debut - the G2 Commonwealth Derby at Laurel Park September 24. Before those results was a two race win streak - an Allowance Optional Claiming August 27 and a maiden score by 1 3/4 lengths July 9. Revved Up looked decent in the summer but has fallen off in his last two starts. Drayden Van Dyke will hope to change his fortunes around from post 9 Saturday.
Defiantly - has placed in five of seven career starts for trainer Craig Dollase - two wins, two seconds and a third place finish. He makes his graded stakes debut Saturday off a career-best effort - a win in the minor Let It Ride Stakes on this track November 12. That followed a sixth in an Allowance Optional Claiming at Santa Anita October 15 and a maiden score here September 5. Defiantly has shown some improvement and will be after a second straight stakes win from gate 10 Saturday. Gary Stevens will be in the irons.
Blackjackcat - lightly raced Mark Glatt trained colt has six career starts with two wins and two third place finishes. He made his stakes debut in September and finished sixth as favorite, two lengths behind in the G2 Del Mar Derby September 4 and has since posted consecutive third in graded stakes action - the G2 Twilight Derby last time out at Santa Anita November 4 and the G2 Los Alamitos Derby September 24. He posted a conditional Allowance score - by 2 1/4 lengths July 23, a maiden score at Santa Anita June 5 and a fifth in his debut in May. Blackjackcat has been knocking on the door and will be after his first graded stakes score from post 7 Saturday. Mike Smith has the mount.
Diplodocus - Richard Baltas trained colt has just one win in 10 career starts with a third and eight off-the-board finishes. Last time out was a fifth in the G2 Twilight Derby at Santa Anita November 4 after a third in an Allowance Optional Claiming on that track October 9, an eighth in the G3 Del Mar Derby and a sixth in the minor Oceanside Stakes July 15. Before that were three straight fifths - the G1 Santa Anita Derby in April, the G3 El Camino Real Derby at Golden Gate February 13 and in an Allowance Optional Claiming at Santa Anita January 24. He did have a maiden score on that same track January 2 - his best result to date. Diplodocus hasn't been great so far and will be after a major breakthrough Saturday. Kent Desormeaux gets the call from gate 4.
Path of David - has 10 career starts for trainer Kristin Mulhall with two wins, two seconds and two third place finishes. Last time out was a seventh in the G2 Twilight Derby at Santa Anita November 4 which followed a second in the minor Dueling Grounds Derby at Kentucky Downs September 11, a third in the minor Oceanside Stakes on this track in July, a sixth in the G3 Robert B. Lewis Stakes at Santa Anita in February and a win in the minor Eddie Logan Stakes at Santa Anita last December. Path of David looks to hit the board in graded stakes action for the first time in his third try when he leaves from the outside gate 12 with Joe Talamo in the saddle.
