Mokat 7-2 - has two wins, two seconds and two third place finishes in nine career starts for trainer Richard Baltas. Last time out was a career-defining 3 3/4 length win in the Grade 2 San Clemente Handicap here July 23 after bad trip led to a thirteenth in the Grade 1 Kentucky Oaks in May, a respectable second behind Songbird in the Grade 1 Santa Anita Oak April 9 and consecutive third place finishes - the Grade 3 Santa Ysabel Stakes March 5 and in an Allowance Optional Claiming February 5. She also had a decent second in the Grade 3 Jimmy Durante Stakes at Del Mar November 28. Mokat will be after her second straight graded stakes win and has placed in five of her last six starts overall - two wins and a second in her last three starts on Del Mar turf. Norberto Arroyo rides the slight morning line favorite from post 3.
Harmonize 9-2 - Bill Mott trained filly won the minor PG Johnson Stakes in September in her second career starts and went on to a terrific win in the Grade 3 Jessamine Stakes at Keeneland October 7. She was a somewhat disappointing seventh in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf but rebounded in her next start winning the minor Sanibel Island Handicap at Gulfstream in March. She's been OK since - a fifth last time out in the competitive Grade 1 Belmont Oaks Invitational July 9 followed a second behind Time and Motion in the listed Wonder Again Stakes June 5 and a third in the Grade 3 Edgewood Stakes at Churchill Downs May 6. Harmonize has been a tad up and downs and looks to snap a three race losing streak from post 7. Junior Alvarado gets the call on the second betting choice.

Barleysugar 5-1 - Irish bred Edward Freeman trained filly had a win, three seconds and a third place finish in six starts in Europe - she placed second in her last two starts at home before shipping. Barleysugar has just one North American start and it was a good one - a win in the minor Sandy Blue Handicap on this track July 17. She has shown steady improvement this year and will be after her second straight stakes score Saturday. Gary Stevens will be in the irons of the co-third choice from post 5.
Stays in Vegas 5-1 - has five wins, a second and two third place finishes in nine career starts for trainer Jerry Hollendorfer - all of the wins in stakes races. Last time out was an OK third in the Grade 2 San Clemente Handicap here July 23 after another third in the Grade 2 Honeymoon Stakes at Santa Anita June 19 and a terrific win in the Grade 3 Senorita Stakes May 7. She also had a close second in the Grade 1 Starlet Stakes at Los Alamitos December 12, a win in the minor Pike Place Dancer Stakes at Golden Gate November 1, a victory in the Surer Girl Stakes at Santa Anita October 10 (both of those wins coming on turf), a fifth behind Songbird in the Grade 1 Del Mar Debutante in September and wins in the Wine Country Debutante in August and the Juan Gonzalez Memorial at first asking in July. Stays in Vegas has been competitive every time out and hopes to keep the roll going Saturday. Flavien Prat has the mount on the other third betting choice from gate 10.
Cheekaboo 6-1 - Peter Eurton trained filly has three wins, three seconds and two third place finishes in nine career starts - competitive every time out. She arrives off a decent second in the minor Sandy Blue Handicap on this track July 17 after a career-defining win in the Grade 2 Honeymoon Stakes at Santa Anita June 19, a third in the minor Melair Stakes here May 28 and a nice win in the minor Campanile Stakes at Golden Gate May 1. She also had an OK third in the minor Xpressbet California Cup Oaks in January. Cheekaboo has been very good the last three months (two wins, a second and a third place finish in four starts) and will try to keep the roll going from gate 8. Santiago Gonzalez gets the call.
Tin Type Gal 8-1 - Graham Motion trained filly has won three of her five career starts - failing to place in the others. Last time out was a career-best outing - a win in the Grade 3 Boiling Springs Stakes at Monmouth Park July 24 after a disappointing fifth in the minor Wild Applause Stakes at Belmont Park June 19, nine months away, a nice win in the Grade 3 Miss Grillo Stakes on that track in September and a maiden score at Saratoga last August. Tin Type Gal has won two of her last three starts (both graded stakes) and could be a factor again Saturday. Joe Talamo will be in the reins from the outside post 11 at an intriguing 8-1 odds.
Decked Out 8-1 - Keith Desormeaux trained filly has two wins, a second and three third place finishes in 13 career starts. She enters off a disappointing ninth in the Grade 1 Belmont Oaks Invitational July 9 and consecutive fourths - in the Grade 2 Honeymoon Stakes at Santa Anita June 19 and in the Grade 3 Senorita Stakes on that track May 7. Before that was a career best effort - a 2 3/4 length win after racing in last in the Grade 3 Providencia Stakes at this distance at Santa Anita April 9, a fifth in the minor China Doll Stakes and consecutive thirds including the minor Sweet Life Stakes here February 14. Decked out had four graded stakes starts earlier in her career with a third in the Grade 3 Schuylerville Stakes in July, 2015 being the best result. She is the most experienced entry in the field but has failed to place in her last three start overalls. Decked Out hopes to rediscover her form from four starts ago when she leaves from gate 2 with Kent Desormeaux in the reins.
Lady Valeur 12-1 - Irish bred Patrick Gallagher trained filly has placed in six of eight career starts - two wins and four runner-up finishes Last time out was a respectable second behind Mokat in the Grade 2 San Clemente Stakes on this track July 23 which followed a disappointing fifth in the Grade 2 Honeymoon Stakes at Santa Anita June 19, an impressive 1 1/2 length Allowance Optional Claiming score May 20 another fifth in the Grade 3 Providencia Stakes April 9 and a second in the minor China Doll Stakes March. Lady Valeur has been OK and searches for her first stakes win Saturday with Rafael Bejarano in the saddle from the rail.
Mrs. Norris 20-1 - Eoin Harty trained filly has 10 career starts with one win, three seconds and a third place finish. She makes her graded stakes debut Saturday off a second in the minor Sandy Blue Stakes here July 17, a fifth, a second and a fourth respectively in a trio of Allowance Optional Claiming races earlier this year. She has placed in just two of her last six starts ahead of this weekend and looks as though she'll be in over her head from post 9. Tyler Baze has been tabbed to ride.
Mines and Magic20-1 - Victoria Oliver trained filly has placed in four of five career starts - two wins, a second and a third place finish. Last time out was an OK stakes debut - a third in the Grade 2 Indiana Oaks July 16 after a pair of wins - an Allowance Optional Claiming at Churchill Downs June 25 and a maiden score on that track May 28. Mines and Magic has been competitive every time out and hopes to break through with her first stakes score from gate 4. Drayden Van Dyke has been scheduled to ride from gate 4.
Lynne's Legacy 20-1 - James Cassidy trained filly has two wins, two seconds and two third place finishes in nine career starts. She makes her stakes debut on a two race win streak - an Allowance here last time out July 21 and a maiden score at Santa Anita May 29 in her eighth career starts. Before that was a pair of runner-up finishes. Lynn's Legacy has improved every time out and hopes to make some noise Saturday from gate 6. Victor Espinoza rides.
