Camelot Kitten - Chad Brown trained colt has two wins and two runner-up finishes in five career starts. He finished a strong second in the Grade 3 Dixiana Bourbon Stakes as a juvenile at Keeneland October 4 and went on to a disappointing twelfth in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf. He has just two starts since and has been very good - a second in an Allowance April 13 was followed by a career defining upset win last time out in the Grade 2 American Turf Stakes at Churchill Downs May 7. Camelot Kitten has been competitive in all except one race and will try to keep a serious upward trend going from gate 2. Irad Ortiz has the mount.
Azar - has nine career starts for trainer Todd Pletcher with two wins and four third place finishes. He won the Grade 2 With Anticipation Stakes at Saratoga in September and had a runner-up finish in the Grade 3 Pilgrim Stakes at Belmont Park three weeks later before a disappointing thirteenth place finish in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf. He has looked OK in four starts since - an Allowance Optional Claiming score at Gulfstream February 28 was followed by a respectable second in the Grade 3 Spiral Stakes April 2 and a somewhat disappointing fifth last time out in the Grade 2 American Turf Stakes at Churchill Downs May 7.
