2016 Remsen Stakes Entries at Aqueduct

Takaful 7-5 - highly regarded colt has just one career start for trainer Kiaran McLaughlin and it was a good one - a maiden score by an incredible eighth lengths in a 6 1/2 furlong race at Belmont Park October 29 - at 12-1 odds. Takaful tries to remain undefeated in his longest race to date and first around two turns as he steps into stakes company for the first time. He has looked great in works in the leadup to this race - he had a bullet breeze on November 18 - fastest of the 52 horses that day over four furlongs. He leaves from gate 4 with Jose Ortiz guiding the morning line favorite.

No Dozing 4-1 - has three career starts for trainer Arnaud Delacour with two wins. He won his first two career starts including an Allowance Optional Claiming at Laurel Park September 10. Last time out was an OK step up into stakes company - a fourth in the G1 Claiborne Breeders' Futurity at Keeneland October 8. No Dozing has been decent so far and hopes his experience against a terrific field last time out will help him win his first stakes race. Daniel Centeno has been pegged with accomplishing that goal on the second betting choice from post 9.

Mo Town 5-1 - Anthony Dutrow trained colt has a win and a second place finish in his two career starts. He steps into stakes company for the first time Saturday off a terrific seven length maiden score at this distance at Belmont Park September 24 and a second in his debut at Saratoga - August 27. Mo Town chases a career-defining win Saturday from gate 8. John Velazquez has the mount in Mo Town's first start around two turns. He too has looked good in training - a bullet five furlongs breeze in 59.40 on Belmont's main track on November 19 is among his recent works.

You're to Blame 10-1 - has a win and a second place finish in three career starts for trainer Chad Brown. He makes his stakes debut Saturday having finally broken maiden last time out at Belmont Park October 15. Before that was a second at Saratoga September 3 and a fifth in his debut at Monmouth Park in July.
