Chandelier Stakes 2015 at Santa Anita Park
Las Vegas, NV - Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California will play host to the Grade 1 Chandelier Stakes on Saturday, September 26. A purse of $300,000 will be on the line for two year old fillies willing to go 1 1/16 miles on Santa Anita's dirt track.

Songbird - will race for the third time Saturday having posted wins in her only two career starts - by and impressive 6 1/2 lengths in her debut July 26 and last time out by an impressive 5 1/4 lengths with a 96 Beyer Speed Figure as even money favorite in the Grade 1 Del Mar Debutante September 5. Songbird hasn't been touched so far and is expected to be in the mix again Saturday with Mike Smith in the reins from post 5.
Pretty N Cool - intriguing and speedy Bob Baffert trained filly has three career starts with two wins and a second place finish - last time out was a game runner-up behind Songbird finish in the Del Mar Debutante September 5. Before that was a win in impressive fashion - by 2 3/4 lengths as favorite in the Grade 2 Sorrento Stakes at Del Mar August 12 and a maiden score by 4 1/2 lengths on a sloppy track July 19. She has been a factor in every career start and should definitely be in the there again Saturday. Martin Garcia has the call from the rail.

Land Over Sea - Doug O'Neill trained filly will hit the track for the fourth time after a respectable third last time out - behind Songbird and Pretty N Cool in the Grade 1 Del Mar Debutante September 5. She broke maiden in her second career start - at Del Mar July 29 and her debut was a second at Los Alamitos July 12. Land Over Sea has shown improvement and hopes to keep that trend going from post 7 with Mario Gutierrez aboard.
Right There - Keith Desormeaux trained filly has looked OK far in her career - a win and a second place finish in her four career starts. Last time out was a fourth in the Grade 1 Del Mar Debutante September 5 after another OK fourth in her graded stakes debut - the Grade 2 Sorrento Stakes August 12, a good win in her stakes debut - the minor Landulace Stakes by an impressive 4 3/4 lengths at Santa Anita June 21 and a second at first asking in May. Kent Desormeaux will be in the saddle from the outside post 7 Saturday looking for Right There's first graded stakes score.

Jade Princess - has just two career starts for trainer Bob Baffert with a fifth place finish in her debut and a maiden score last time out in her second career start - at Del Mar August 27. Jade Princess hopes to keep improving when she leaves from gate 8 Saturday with Victor Espinoza guiding her.
Vieja Luna - finally broke maiden last time out in her third career start for trainer Gustavo Amaya - at Gulfstream Park August 20. Before that was a third in a MSW July 25 and a fourth in his debut- the minor Cassidy Stakes July 5 - both at Gulfstream Park. Juan Leyva gets the call Saturday hoping for Vieja Luna's first stakes score from post 3.
Yodelsong - won her career debut for trainer Mike Harrington - at Del Mar July 31 but followed that with an ugly eighth in her stakes debut - the Del Mar Juvenile Fillies Turf September 7. She looks for a strong bounce back performance Saturday when she departs from gate 4 with Fernando Hernandez Perez in the irons.
Sheeza Milky Way - has just a single third place finish in three career starts for trainer Peter Eurton - that being two starts back in a MSW at Del Mar August 13. Last time out was a fourth in her stakes debut - the minor Del Mar Juvenile Fillies Turf September 7. Sheeza Milky Way has been just OK in her career and needs to step up Saturday in order to contend. Rafael Bejarano has the mount from gate 6.
Halo Darlin - will make just her second career start for trainer Mike Puype hoping to make it two straight wins to start her career. Her only start was a maiden score at Del Mar September 2. Tyler Baze has been tabbed to ride in Halo Darlin's step up in competition - from gate 2.
