Turco Bravo 5-2 - Chilean bred Gary Contessa trained gelding has 11 wins, 14 seconds and five third place finishes in 43 career starts and has a win, three seconds and two third place finishes in 10 US starts. He made his graded stakes debut in April and finished fifth in the Grade 3 Excelsior Stakes at Aqueduct and followed that with a seventh in the Grade 2 Brooklyn Invitational in June. He enters off a second in the minor Birdstone Stakes at Saratoga August 12 which followed a third in an Allowance Optional Claiming in July. Turco Bravo also had a nice win in the minor Stymie Stakes March 22 after a third in the minor Evening Attire Stakes in February and consecutive seconds - the minor Jazil Stakes January 19 and the minor Native Dancer January 3. Turco Bravo has been decent against lesser competition but has struggled in top company so far. For Greater Glory 7-2 - won an Allowance Optional Claiming at Oaklawn Park in March and has raced three straight graded stakes races since. For Greater Glory tries for his first stakes score Monday from post 5 with Joe Rocco in the reins of the morning line second choice.
