Sarah Sis - three times stakes winner this year won the Grade 3 Honeybee Stakes at Oaklawn Park March 7, but stumbled to a fifth in the Grade 3 Fantasy Stakes in April- both at Oaklawn Park. She most recently finished fourth after she led early and faded against older fillies and mares in the Grade 1 Ballerina Stakes at Saratoga August 29. Before that was a nice two race win streak - the Grade 3 Iowa Oaks June 27 and the minor Panthers Stakes at Prairie Meadows in May. She also had a DNF in the Grade 1 Kentucky Oaks four weeks prior to that. Sarah Sis has five wins and three second place finishes in 11 career starts and looks to get back in the win column Saturday. Julio Felix gets the call aboard the 9-5 morning line favorite from the rail.
Fusaichi Red - George Weaver trained filly has hit the board in all seven career starts - two wins, two seconds and three third place finishes. She raced in stakes company for the first time September 6 and finished a respectable third behind Cavorting and Bar of Gold in the Grade 2 Prioress Stakes. That result followed a win in her stakes debut - the minor Miss Woodford Stakes by 3 3/4 lengths at Monmouth Park July 19 and a maiden score by an incredible 8 1/4 lengths in a race she posted an 86 Beyer Speed Figure July 7. Fusaichi Red has improved every time out and hopes to keep that trend going. Joe Bravo has been tabbed to ride in Fusaichi Red's first try around two turns from post 4.
