Las Vegas, NV - The Grade 3 Hilliard Lyons Doubledogdare Stakes goes down at Keeneland Race Course in Lexington, Kentucky this Friday, April 18. Fillies and mares four years old and upward will take to Keeneland's All Weather Track and go 1 1/16 miles for the winner's share of the $100,000 purse.

Emollient - Bill Mott trained Emollient has 12 career starts with five wins and two second place finishes. She had a terrific nine length win in the Grade 1 Ashland Stakes at Keeneland at 6-1 odds April 6, a win in the Grade 1 American Oaks July 13 and a win in the Grade 1 Juddmonte Spinster Stakes also at Keeneland October 6. She enters off two straight fourth place finishes - last time out in the Grade 2 Santa Ana Stakes March 16 after an OK fourth after setting the pace in the Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Turf. She has won both of her starts on this track (both Grade 1 scores) and returns to the scene of her last win - back in October looking to snap her consecutive fourths. Mike Smith has the mount on the 123 pound top weight from post 10.
Sisterly Love - has 13 career starts for trainer Mark Casse - six wins. The biggest of which came in July in the Grade 3 Ontario Matron Stakes. Since that time she has placed in just two of five starts - an Allowance score in wire-to-wire fashion at this distance on this track last time out and a second in the listed Belle Mahone Stakes at Woodbine in October. She was an OK fourth in the Grade 1 Juddmonte Spinster here in October but was sixth in two consecutive races before her most recent score. Solid Appeal - Reade Baker trained multiple graded stakes winner and Sovereign Award winner as Canada's top turf female has won three of six starts last year - an Allowance at Keeneland, the Grade 2 Nassau Stakes in May and the Grade 2 Dance Smartly Stakes July 7 - both stakes wins at Woodbine. She went on to a disappointing sixth in the Grade 1 Beverly D. Stakes at Arlington park in September an ugly eighth in the Grade 2 Canadian Stakes at Woodbine in September and was last seen running an OK third in November in the Grade 3 Cardinal Handicap at Churchill Downs. Robbie Albarado has the mount from gate 9.
Dixie Strike - Another Mark Casse trainee is coming off a fifth in the Grade 2 Azeri Stakes at Oaklawn Park March 15 after a second in the listed Bayakoa Stakes and a fourth in the listed Pippin Stakes on that same track this past winter. She did finish second to close out her 2013 campaign in the Grade 3 Maple Leaf Stakes at Woodbine but hasn't been the same since. She has six wins, five seconds and three third place finishes in 21 career starts - the best being wins in May 2012 in the Selene Stakes and the 2012 Prince of Whales Stakes. She attempts to snap a four race losing streak Friday from gate 6 with Alan Garcia aboard.
Sisterhood - Wesley Ward trained mare finished second in the Grade 3 Arlington Matron Stakes May 25 after a second in the 2013 Doubledogdare Stakes. Since that time she has fallen badly - a fifth in the Grade 1 Clement L. Hirsch August 3 was followed by an ugly eighth in the minor Kentucky Downs Ladies Turf Stakes September 7, a tenth in the Grade 1 Juddmonte Spinster on this track in October, a fourth in the listed Capano Stakes at Calder in November and a ninth last time out in the listed South Beach Stakes at Gulfstream December 15. She has just three wins and three second place finishes in 21 career starts and hasn't posted victory since October 2012. Sisterhood leaves from post 8 with John Velazquez in the reins.

Moment in Dixie - James Toner trained mare has 13 career starts with three wins, four seconds and a third place finish. She started last year with a second and a first respectively in a pair of Allowance Optional Claiming races but went on to a ninth in her only graded stakes action of 2013 - the Grade 1 Ballerina at Saratoga in August. Since then she has placed in two minor stakes races - a second in the Jazzy Stakes at Belmont Park in September and a third in the Trevita Stakes at Aqueduct in November. Last time out was an OK fourth in the Grade 3 Endeavor Stakes January 25 after a disappointing fifth in the minor South Beach Stakes at Gulfstream December 15. She looks to place in graded stakes action for the first time Thursday. Jose Lezcano will be aboard from post 2
Gold Medal Dancer - has two wins and three seconds in his last six starts with a fifth in the Grade 3 Iowa Oaks sandwiched in there. She is coming off an Allowance Optional Claiming score at Oaklawn Park March 20 after seconds in the minor Zia Park Oaks and the Remington Park Oaks. She has four wins and three seconds in nine career starts and has looked decent over the last 10 or so months. LS Quinonez will ride from post 4.
Strathnaver - H. Graham Motion pupil had two wins and a second place finish in nine starts in Britain before shipping. Her American debut was a good one - an Allowance Optional Claiming score at Gulfstream March 16 in record time for 1 3/16 miles on turf and she followed that with another impressive score in the Grade 3 Bewitch Stakes at 18-1 odds at Keeneland April 25. She struggled in two starts after that - a seventh in the Grade 2 Sheepshead Bay Stakes at Belmont Park in May and an eighth in the Grade 3 Modesty Handicap at Arlington Park in July but bounced back with as nice win in the minor Lady Baltimore Stakes at Laurel Park September 21. Strathnaver has been OK in two starts since - a fourth in the Grade 3 Long Island Handicap in October was followed by a third in the Grade 3 My Charmer Handicap at Calder in December. She starts from the outside post with Joel Rosario in the saddle.
Noble Charlotte - has 25 career starts with five wins, nine seconds and three third place finishes but hasn`t tasted victory in a stakes race since September 2012 in the minor H.B.P.A Stakes at Presque Isle Downs. She has placed in just one of her last five starts - an Allowance Optional Claiming on this track two back on October 19. MG Pino gets the call from post 5.
Ire - Albert Stall trained mare has yet to record a stakes win but has four Allowance scores in 16 career start. Last time out was an OK third in the minor Happy Ticker Stakes at Fair Grounds February 1 after a sixth in the minor Holiday Inaugural Stakes in December and a respectable fourth in the Grade 2 Chilukki Stakes at Churchill Downs in November. She has three starts in this track with two wins - hopes are she can break through in stakes company this week. Julien Leparoux will be aboard from the rail Friday.
Pearl Turn - has eight career starts with two wins, a second and a third place finish but steps into graded stakes company for the first time Friday. Last time out was an Allowance score at Oaklawn Park March 14 after a pair of fourths in similar races on that same track this past winter. She has run one stakes race in the past and finished an OK third in the minor Polly's Jet Stakes at Delaware Park October 5. Rosie Napravnik has the mount from post 3.
