Sweet Reason - has five career starts with three wins and a second place finish - the only off-the-board finish coming two back - a fourth beaten by only two lengths in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies. She started her career with two wins - the best of which came in the Grade 1 Spinaway Stakes by 5 3/4 lengths at Saratoga in September and followed that with a second behind the terrific Untapable in the Grade 1 Frizette at Belmont Park in October before her BC attempt. Last time out she returned to the winner's circle with an Allowance Optional Claiming score on this track March 7. She will have Irad Ortiz in the saddle from post 3 as the 8-5 morning line favorite.
My Miss Sophia - highly regarded Todd Pletcher trained filly will race for just the third time Saturday and make her stakes debut. She broke maiden by an impressive 11 lengths last time out on this track March 9 after a second in a similar race on that track February 9. Despite the lack of experience against top competition My Miss Sophia is the 9-5 second choice. She line up in post 4 with Javier Castellano aboard.
