2012 Del Mar Futurity Race Favorites

Know More - comes from the same team as I'll Have Another - J. Paul Reddam and trainer Doug O'Neill are back looking to make a little more noise. Know More made a little history last time out becoming one of the few to win a graded stakes race in her career debut - the Best Pal Stakes here on August 5.

Scherer Magic - was the even money favorite in the Best Pal but finished a disappointing fifth. That after two career starts and two wins for trainer John Sadler. He romped to a 2 and a half length win in the Hollywood Juvenile Championship and won the other career start by over seven lengths. He will be looking to rebound from a bad performance in the Best Pal and can some mojo back with a good outing.

Del Mar Futurity 2012 | Remaining Field Entries

Capo Bastone - John Sadler colt came back from a 10 length deficit in his only career start and posted a win on August 4. He raised some eyebrows in that race and will look to raise a few more on Wednesday. New rider John Velazquez will most certainly help in the attempt!

Rolling Fog - Bob Baffert colt will try to give his legendary trainer an eleventh Del Mar Futurity win and is coming off a maiden victory here on August 4. Rafael Bejarano has been hot of late and will get the mount Wednesday.

Gabriel Charles - Fresh off a win against Bob Baffert's Den's Legacy here on July 21. Jeff Mullins trains this impressive colt and Joe Talamo will ride him in the Futurity.
