Glenville Gardens Wins Play the King Stakes at Woodbine Racetrack

Woodbine racetrack in Toronto, Ontario played host to the Grade 2 Play the King Stakes on Saturday, August 20 - a seven furlong turf dash for horses three years old and upward. Janice Attard's 12-1 longshot Glenville Gardens came up late and posted the half length victory in the field of six - his third straight win and first graded stakes score. Co-7-2 third choice Tower of Texas finished second with 8-5 favorite Conquest Enforcer getting in for third. Passion for Action was fourth while Ami's Flatter and Dimension completed the order of finish. Green Mask scratched.
