Midnight Miley Wins Ontario Matron Stakes at Woodbine Racetrack

Woodbine Racetrack in Toronto, Ontario was the scene of the $150,000 Grade 3 Ontario Matron Stakes on Sunday, July 17. Fillies and mares three years old and upward took to Woodbine's All Weather Track and raced 1 1/16 miles. 27-1 longshot Midnight Miley posted the surprising gate-to-wire win by an impressive four lengths. 5-1 shot Miss Chatelaine finished second in the field of nine while second betting choice Moon Rainbow got in for third. Hot Kiss finished fourth while Galina Point, Sweater Weather, Minks Aprise, London Tower and 2-1 favorite Flipcup completed the order of finish.
