Al's Gal Wins E. P. Taylor Stakes at Woodbine Racetrack

The $500,000 G1 E. P. Taylor Stakes was contested Sunday, October 16 at Woodbine Racetrack in Toronto, Ontario. An international group of fillies and mares three years old and upward took to Woodbine's turf track and raced 1 1/4 miles. It was American entries that ruled the day however finishing 1-2 in the prestigious race. 6-1 shot Al's Gal prevailed in a photo finish as she barely held off a furious charge from Suffused who settled for second at 7-1 odds. The best European was Banzari who finished third at 21-1 odds. Guapaza finished fourth in the field of 12 while 5-1 Rainha Da Bateria, 5-1 Swiss Range, Nezwaah, Parvaneh, Tuttipaesi, Strut the Course, Aim to Please and 3-1 favorite Best In The World completed the order of finish.
