Interpol Wins Sky Classic Stakes at Woodbine Racetrack
Las Vegas, NV - Woodbine in beautiful Toronto, Ontario, Canada played host to the $200,000 Grade 2 Sky Classic Stakes on Sunday, August 16 - a 1 1/4 mile turf test for older horses. The longest shot in the field 25-1 Interpol was best on the day shocking the field and earning his first graded stakes score. Golden Sabre finished second by a neck in a photo-finish with Are You Kidding Me. Mr Speaker, favored at 8-5, was fourth with Sky Flight and Aldous Snow completing the order of finish.
