Turkish Wins Valedictory Stakes at Woodbine
Las Vegas, NV - The $150,000 Grade 3 Valedictory Stakes was contested at Woodbine in Toronto, Ontario on Sunday, December 7. 5-2 Favorite - Tino Attard trained Turkish proved to be too much in the 1 3/4 marathon on closing day at Woodbine and despite weakening, held on for a neck win over Pender Harbour who was elevated to second after a disqualification of Royal Blessing who wound up third. Desvelo finished fourth followed by Cozy Kitten, Manighar, Bingo Kitten, and Quiet Country. Marathon Run was vanned off.
