Karibu Gardens Wins Sky Classic Stakes at Woodbine Racetrack
Las Vegas, NV - The $200,000 Grade 2 Sky Classic Stakes went down on Woodbine turf in beautiful Toronto, Ontario on Saturday, August 16. 15-1 shot Karibu Gardens upset the field in his stakes debut - winning by three quarters of a length in the 1 1/4 mile test. Reporting Star finished a close second while Money Talker finished third in the field of seven older horses. River Seven finished fourth followed by Dynamic Sky, 2-1 favorite Aldous Snow and two-time Sky Classic winner Forte Dei Marmi who faded to last. Five Iron scratched.
