Bulldog Racing's Alpha Bettor bested the field by three quarters of a length as the third choice at 7-2 odds while unfortunately the runner-up Ultimate Destiny was declared a non-starter in the race after his gate opened prematurely. Awesome Overture was moved up to second and Peyton was placed third. Perfect Afleet was next, followed by Any Given Royal, favored James Street, and Patrioticandproud.
