Wonderment Wins Bourbonette Oaks at Turfway Park

Turfway Park in Florence, Kentucky played host to the $100,000 Grade 3 Bourbonette Oaks on Saturday, April 2 - a one mile race for three year old fillies on Turfway Park's All Weather Track. Magdalena Racing and Chris Sterbenz' 4-1 second choice Wonderment took control early and wired the full field of 14. 9-1 shot Inconclusive finished second while slight 3-1 favorite Marquee Miss got in for third. Miss Meteor finished fourth followed by American Doll, Lookout Sister, Egyptian Honey, Artesian, Castiel's Angel, Dorodansa, Lemon Drop Belle and Red Fern Doll to complete the order of finish. Lope and Red Atlantic scratched.
