The $500,000 G1 Fourstardave Handicap was contested Saturday, August 12 at Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs, New York - a one-mile Inner turf test for horses three years old and upward. It was Live Oak Plantation's homebred and 3-1 third choice World Approval that kept up a pretty good string of results with his third win in his last four starts - this time by a good 2 1/4 lengths. 8-5 favorite Time Test closed for second, while Ballagh Rocks finished third at 10-1 odds. The order of finish was completed by 2-1 second choice Disco Partner, Sassy Little Lila, and American Patriot. Weekend Hideaway, entered for the main track only, was scratched.
