Klaravich Stables and William Lawrence's New York-bred Startup Nation impressed in the 1 1/16 mile test for two year olds - by 4 1/2 lengths at 2-1 odds. Startup Nation earned an automatic berth into the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf with the win. International Star finished second with Nutty Futty, 2 1/2 lengths behind. Slightly favored Strong Coffee, Designed for War, Hot Tin Roof, Creaky Cricket, and Kutuzov completed the order of finish. Blame Jim was entered for the main track only.
