Las Vegas, NV - The $100,000 Grade 3 Las Cienegas Stakes went down on Santa Anita's downhill turf track in Arcadia, California on Saturday, April 11. Home Journey made it a triumphant graded stakes debut in the field of eight winning by a length in the 6 1/2 furlong test as the 3-1 second choice. 3-2 favorite Go West Marie finished second with Blingismything finishing third. Behind Blingismything came Theatre Star, Heavens Stairway, Living The Life, Salsita, and Unforgettable U, to complete the order of finish.
