Jojo Warrior Wins Summertime Oaks at Santa Anita Park
Las Vegas, NV - The $200,000 Grade 2 Summertime Oaks was contested at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California on Saturday, June 21 - a 1 1/16 mile test for three year old fillies. Bob Baffert trained Jojo Warrior went gate-to-wire and prevailed by a relatively easy 5 1/4 lengths at 3-1 odds with 16-1 shot Live for Now finishing second and Front Range getting in for the show spot. 2-1 favorite Delta Flower faded in the stretch and finished fourth with Fleet of Gold, Stop Smiling, La Mejor Fiesta, and Arethusa completing the order of finish.
