Winning Prize Wins Arcadia Stakes at Santa Anita Park
Las Vegas, NV - The $200,000 Grade 2 Arcadia Stakes took place on Santa Anita turf in Arcadia, California on Saturday, February 1. Slight 2-1 co-favorite Winning Prize posted the relatively easy 1 1/2 length victory in the one mile test for horses three years old and upward. 8-1 shot Tom's Tribute finished a very game second while Regally Ready finished third. Regally Royal's stablemate Unbridled's Note was fourth in the seven-horse field, followed by last year's Arcadia winner and slight 2-1 co-favorite Suggestive Boy, Not Jet Lag, and Procurement. Peace and Justice, Si Sage and Vagabond Shoes were scratched.
