Heavily favored Golden Lad came on late and recorded the 1 1/2 length victory over 31-1 shot Ecleto Red with Page McKenny finishing third. 5-2 second choice Carve finished fourth followed by Ulanbator, Smack Smack, Call Me George, Tapiture and Jessica's Star. Gavroche and Lahshad scratched.
