Unbridled Mo Wins Monmouth Oaks at Monmouth Park

The $100,000 Grade 3 Monmouth Oaks went down Saturday, August 20 at Monmouth Park in Oceanport New Jersey. Three year old fillies took to Monmouth's dirt track and raced 1 1/16 miles. Red Oak Stable's, Todd Pletcher trained 2-1 third choice Unbridled Mo bided her time and eventually took control in the field of six to record her first graded stakes score. Previously unbeaten 8-5 favorite Tejana got up for second while 9-5 second choice Mo d'Amour was another three-quarters of a length back in third. A Place to Shine finished fourth with Downdraft and Mo' Green completing the order of finish. Hi Holiday scratched.
