Las Vegas, NV - Monmouth Park on the Jersey Shore was the scene of the $100,000 Grade 3 Monmouth Oaks on Saturday, August 9. Impressive Fox Hill Farms' filly Cassatt posted the wire-to-wire victory at 17-10 odds - by 3 3/4 lengths in the field of eight. Saintly Joan was second after a stewards' inquiry against Aqua Regia - Aqua Regia eventually was placed third. Ria Antonia, the 2013 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies winner, finished fourth as the 4-5 favorite followed by Lady Paradime, Aibhilin, Offlee Golden, and Spring Included. Size and Joint Return scratched.
