Medea Wins Eatontown Stakes at Monmouth Park
Las Vegas, NV - The $100,000 Grade 3 Eatontown Stakes went down on Monmouth Park turf on the Jersey Shore Saturday, June 21. Cornerstone Thoroughbreds' Irish bred 11-2 shot Medea utilized a late charge to post a one length victory over 7-1 Triple Arch and Lonesome Town. Rusty Slipper was fourth followed by Dido while Nashly's Vow, the 9-5 favorite and pacesetter, tired in the lane to finish sixth. Misty in Malibu trailed. Orion Moon and Lady Ten scratched.
