Bandbox Wins General George Handicap at Laurel Park
Las Vegas, NV - Laurel Park in the great state of Maryland played host to the $250,000 Grade 3 General George Handicap this past Monday, February 17. 13-1 shot Bandbox provided the upset after a terrific late rally and got across the line one length in front of Tenango. Service for Ten finished third, even money favorite Palace finished a disappointing fourth, Broad Rule finished fifth, followed by Smash and Grab, Well Spelled, and Warrioroftheroses to complete the order of finish. Defending champion Javerre scratched.
