Da Big Hoss Wins Kentucky Turf Cup Stakes at Kentucky Downs

The $600,000 Grade 3 Calumet Farms Kentucky Turf Cup Stakes went down Saturday, September 10 at Kentucky Downs in Franklin, Kentucky. Horses three years old and upward were featured when they took to Kentucky Downs turf track and raced 1 1/2 miles. Heavy 1-2 favorite Da Big Hoss sat back through much of the race and came on at the end to post the repeat win in this event - his fourth straight stakes score - this time by 1 1/4 lengths. 18-1 shot Bullard Alley finished a game second in the field of nine while 60-1 longshot Rum Tum Tugger held for a good third. 7-2 second choice Greengrassofyoming was fourth, followed by Power Foot, Life's Journey, Behesht, Verger, and Seve's Road to complete the order of finish.
