Paulassilverlining Wins Madison Stakes at Keeneland Racecourse

The $300,000 G1 Madison Stakes took place Saturday, April 8 at Keeneland in Lexington, Kentucky. Fillies and mares four years old and upward took to Keeneland's dirt track and raced seven furlongs. It was 9-5 favorite Paulassilverlining that prevailed by just a neck in the field of nine as she overtook 3-1 second choice Constellation in the stretch. Constellation wound up second with 9-2 third betting choice Paid Up Subscriber getting in for a quality third place finish. The order of finish was completed by Mines and Magic, Kathballu, Wheatfield, High Ridge Road, Ponder Lea, and Clothes Fall Off.
