Horses three years old and upward took to Keeneland's sloppy dirt track and raced 1 1/8 miles. Fred Bradley and Carl Hurst's 8-1 shot The Player proved best on the day thanks to a determined kick in the final furlong to prevail by three lengths for his first graded stakes score. Pacesetter and 2-1 second choice Neolithic held for second in the field of six with 3-1 third choice McCraken getting in for third. Guiseppe the Great was fourth while Malibu Pro, and 7-5 race favorite Honorable Duty completed the order. Fear the Cowboy scratched.
