Time and Motion Wins Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup at Woodbine Racetrack

The $500,000 G1 Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup was contested Saturday, October 15 at Keeneland in Lexington, Kentucky. Three year olds fillies were featured when they took to Keeneland's turf track and raced 1 1/8 miles. Phillips Racing Partnership's homebred and 3-1 co-second choice Time and Motion timed her move perfectly in the stretch and prevailed in the final strides for her first G1 victory. 10-1 shot Harmonize finished second in the field of eight with Hawksmoor who was also sent off at 10-1 got in for third. On Leave finished fourth while Mokat, Stays in Vegas, 8-5 favorite Catch a Glimpse who faded to seventh, and Queen Caroline completed the order of finish. Try Your Luck scratched.
