Mongolian Saturday Wins Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint at Keeneland

Las Vegas, NV - Keeneland in Lexington, Kentucky was the scene of the $1 million Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint on Saturday, October 31. In a thrilling finish, 15-1 outsider Mongolian Saturday prevailed by a neck in the 5 1/2 furlong event over Lady Shipman who finished second and Green Mask who wound up third. Defending Turf Sprint winner Bobby's Kitten rallied down the lane to finish fourth. Completing the order of finish were slight 7-2 favorite Undrafted, No Silent, Ready For Rye, Pure Sensation, Marchman, Stacked Deck, Joe Franklin, The Great War, Something Extra, and Jimmy Bouncer.
