Silver Max Wins Shadwell Turf Mile at Keeneland
Las Vegas, NV - It finally happened! Wise Dan lost a race - ending his impressive streak of nine on Saturday October 5 in the $750,000 Grade 1 Shadwell Turf Mile Stakes at Keeneland. Silver Max was the impressive entry that ended the streak with a 1 1/4 length win at 7-1 odds. The 1-2 favorite Wise Dan finished second while Willcox Inn finished third. Rounding out the field were Winning Prize, Coalport, Skyring, Summer Front, Hogy, Turallure, and Handsome Mike.
