American Handicap at Hollywood Park Results
Las Vegas, NV - The $150,000 Grade 2 American Handicap went down on the turf at Betfair Hollywood Park on Saturday, May 25. Odds on choice, Irish bred Obviously recorded the impressive victory by 2 1/2 lengths for his third grade II victory since last summer for owners Anthony Fanticola and Joe Scardino. French bred Lucayan, winner of the 2012 French Two Thousand Guineas, rallied for second in his first start in the United States for trainer Neil Drysdale while Barocci was third in the field of six older horses. Drill finished just out of the money while Racing Aptitude was fifth and Chosen Miracle trailed.
