Las Vegas, NV - Hastings Racecourse in Vancouver, British Columbia was the scene of the $150,000 Grade 3 British Columbia Derby on Sunday, September 14. 3-2 favorite Alert Bay recorded the relatively easy two length win in the 1 1/8 mile test for three year olds with 7-2 second choice Koffee Grinder finishing second. 74-1 shot Del Rio Harbor finished a very good third followed by Off the Top, Remembertobreathe, Slice of Red, Mebossman, Distillery, Tapicero, and Wonder World.
