Touching Promise Wins Ballerina Stakes at Hastings
Las Vegas, NV - The Grade 3 Ballerina Stakes was contested on Monday, October, 13 from Hastings Race Course in Vancouver, British Columbia. Mr. and Mrs. R.J. Bennett's long shot Touching Promise proved best on the day winning by 1 1/2 lengths on the sloppy track. Last year's winner of the Ballerina, Madeira Park finished second while last year's runner-up Wando Woman was third. Ole's Miss, Locket, Madame Pele and Saturday Nite Ride completed the order of finish.
