Fear the Cowboy Wins Harlan's Holiday Stakes at Gulfstream Park

Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, Florida was the scene of the $100,000 G3 Harlan's Holiday Stakes on Saturday, December 16. Horses three years old and upward took to Gulfstream's dirt track and raced 1 1/16 miles. Kathleen Amaya and Raffaele Centofanti's 7-2 second betting choice Fear the Cowboy maintained his good fortune on the South Florida track, emerging by 2 1/4 lengths. 4-1 third choice Mr. Jordan hung on to finish a good second, a neck in front of 9-1 shot Richard the Great who settled for third. Destin, the 7-5 favorite finished a disappointing fourth in the field of nine while Frammento, Conquest Big E, Flatlined, Page McKenney and Joshua's Comprise completed the order of finish.
