Classic Point recorded the sentimental win at 4-1 odds just three days after the passing of legendary Hall of Fame horseman Allen Jerkens - his son Jimmy Jerkins took over training duties of Classic Point last summer. 19-1 shot You Bought Her finished a good second in the field of just six with Sweet Whiskey getting up for third. Centrique, Best Behavior, and overwhelming 1-2 favorite Merry Meadow completed the order of finish. Quiet Hour was an early scratch.
