Todd Pletcher trained Gala Award posted the upset in his graded stakes debut at 8-1 odds while Mr Speaker finished second and 5-2 favorite Storming Inti was third. Pleuven, Can'thelpbelieving, My Storm Trooper, Cabo Cat, Morning Calm, So Lonesome, Patent, Smart Cover, and Two Jacks Wild completed the order of finish.
